Giving projects a brighter outlook

PLANTRAC-OUTLOOK provides exceptional facilities for projects to be planned, scheduled, monitored and managed for profit.

INTUITIVE INPUT

Activities/tasks may be input using a screen Bar Chart, a screen PERT Chart ( Precedence or Activity-on-Arrow ), a Spreadsheet or a Form. All methods are compatible and their use may be interchanged to suit.
"It has very simple customisation facilities achieved through simple clicks. No laborious treks through all encompassing display options dialogues"
"A highly popular facility will be the one which allows multiple task bars to be placed and displayed on one line. This is woefully rare in other planning software." PROJECT MANAGER TODAY

EXCEPTIONAL SCHEDULING

Each day saved can mean the difference between profit and loss. The scheduling techniques used have been refined over the years to produce realistic schedules. Critical Path Analysis, Resource Levelling, Resource Limiting, Resource Level-of-Effort and Cost Analysis are all provided.

REALISTIC MONITORING

Progress reporting have some very useful features. In addition to Actual Start, Actual Finish, Time to Complete and % Complete there are two powerful fields. Anticipated Complete and Continue Work. The former allows a far more reliable measure of progress than % Complete and the latter indicates whether work will continue on this task, now that it has started, or whether a break point has been reached. No changing logic for out of sequence work and consequently deviations from the baseline. Excellent comparison graphics are available for monitoring.

IMPRESSIVE REPORTING

Thousands of presentation reports are available from PLANTRAC-OUTLOOK. Complete flexibility is provided to select the required activities, to sequence them and to design the presentation. The reports may be customised with logos, additional pictures and text. In addition to Bar Charts and Tabular Reports, Pert Charts may be drawn in several ways including Time Scaled. Histograms and Graphs are also available for Resources and Trends
